A Natural and Safe
Antidote to Toxins and Poisons

What is Activated Charcoal?

Activated Charcoal
This black powder is a great natural and non-toxic remedy. Activated Charcoal benefits in that way, as it consists of negative charged ions therefore attracting positive ions (Toxins).

Optained from burned wood, bark, peat or coconut shells, the granules are highly porous giving it a very large surface. That means, it can adsorb huge amounts of toxins, which makes it a powerful detoxing remedy.

Uses of Active Charcoal

Activated Charcoal (AC) is safe to use orally to detoxify the digestive tract. Please note, that the one you use internally is not the same one that you use for barbeque or grill (burning coal).

You can get it in most health shops or supermarkets and it is inexpensive. It comes in form of powder, tablets or capsules as a health supplement. It is easy to swallow because it has no taste and is odorless.

A clean colon is important for good health. AC supports the colon in its effort to cleanse out harmful matter. When used orally it passes through the GI tract without getting absorbed from the body. It adsorbs all sorts of poisoning substances from the intestine and helps with heavy metal detox.

Acute Diarrhoea is often a sign of harmful substances from food that the body wants to get out quickly. Taking AC when you have diarrhoea it helps the body in its attempt to protect itself of harmful substances.

Charcoal may also reduce Stomach Problems and Flatulence, a build up of gas in the gut.

Note: Your stool will most likely be black colored. This is normal because the body cannot metabolize it as explained above.

Activated Charcoal may also be beneficial for Tooth Ache. It helps to draw out toxins from teeth. Mix a teaspoon of powdered charcoal with water to make a thick paste. Then put the paste between two clean small pieces of gauze. Place the gauze on your sore tooth and bite down, so that the paste surrounds your sore tooth. Leave it for at least a few minutes. Finally remove the gauze and rinse your mouth with water. You can do it every few hours or as long as needed.

AC can even be used as a natural Teeth Whitener. Just springle a bit of powder on your tooth brush and brush your teeth as you would normally with toothpaste. Then rinse your mouth thoroughly.

Activated Charcoal is one of the best antidote to toxins.

Have it on hand

Having AC handy in your First Aid Kit would be advised. It is also a valuable supplement to take with you whilst travelling and when you may eat questionable food in unhygenic locations.

I wish I would have known about it years ago when I was backpacking extensively around the globe and having had to eat at all sorts of places. Now, if I question the quality of food in a restaurant, I just simply take a capsule of AC after consumption to make sure I do not get ill with any food poisonings.

Activated Charcoal has probabely
saved already many lives around the globe.

Used externally as a Poultice it is said to help with insect bites and abscesses as well.

Last but not least I would like to mention that it is beneficial to take AC if you are quite particial to more then a glass of wine or two. Taking one tablet before and one after drinking helps prevent Headaches and Hang-over. It can also lessen the damage to the body that may happen from drinking excess alcohol.

Are there any negative Side Effects?

AC does not have any negative side effects as such. Although, taken orally, it may interfere with some drugs or lessen the effectivness of supplements. If you take medication please check with your doctor first before taking AC.

Please also note that it may also absorb vitamins and minerals from ingested food. Usually it is recommended to take it at least 2 hours before or after meals or health supplements. Please carefully read and follow the instructions outlined on the product you use.

Few people may experience constipation after taking AC.

Bottom line...

Activated Charcoal benefits in many ways and I highly recommend having AC handy at all times. So if you need to use it for colon cleanse or for other such things you can have it on hand immediately for use.
